February has been an intense month and has passed by me in a blur.
So, I think I'll just put up some pictures. I even went to Paris for the first time, this month. But, for those pictures, since there are a million, please see my Facebook album.
I'm basically Chinese now, just ask Louise, Molly, or Dickson. Louise is letting me borrow her kid chopsticks, so I can actually learn how to use them. I'm getting better. This was from a fun adventure together to try to find good Taiwanese food.
Temple trip! The weather has been so lovely this winter. Also, I love this girl.
She introduced me to the best hot chocolate. :)
This was my first burger since moving here. It was pretty epic and I miss them. I mean, not all the time, but you know.
Ah, the Cereal Killer Cafe - I live in the building where Jack the Ripper's last victim lived before, well, he killed her... Anyway... So the area has a lot of references. Plus, this one is clever and delicious - "the Lion King" combination of cereal and chocolate... though it was more like eating a candy bar instead of dinner. Sorry the picture is so yucky...
Louise and I went to the Barbican and saw this lone duck. He's fun. And we want to go back to the Barbican when it isn't raining... lots of fun water features and such, right close to where I live. She had stayed the night here and we were really productive in the morning, then went to get hot salt beef 'beigels' , then we came home, worked more on our school stuff... then we came here. Then... we went home and watched Hercules because I was tired. Haha.
Through half of Jan and part of February, my friend Tara and I did this... it helped me be a bit more accountable. Haha. Don't look too closely... just be impressed... haha.
Birthday girl. :) We got "proper" burgers before institute.
NME Awards. It was pretty epic. And loud. And I had a lot of fun with a new friend.
Louise let me play with her hair before the Chinese New Year dance. We also went to get burritos, where our friends who are in a band, the Empire Kings, found out that they were going to be on BBC Radio for the first time. It was so fun!
Isn't she beautiful?!
Fun times in February.
I love reading about your adventures! Next time you're in Paris, I recommend hot chocolate at Angelina's. It's a bit pricey, but soooo worth it. The tearoom is right by the Tuileries gardens, and has the same style as when it opened 100 years ago. I think you'd love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tasha! We saw Angelina's and wanted to go - but it was a little out of budget for us that trip. :) But you make it sound amazing so I'll definitely plan for it next time. Thanks!
DeleteAnd I'll have to post up an actual post of our adventures in Paris. Soon. Haha.
