Happenings at Home in London

In addition to travelling, London hasn’t slowed down in its awesome-ness. Let’s see. After I got back from Portugal, I finished my essays – obviously… I also went to see
“Treasure Island” with my dear friend Diana, and worked on my dissertation project, and then… went to Interstellar Live. It was so cool!  “Interstellar Live at the Royal Albert Hall - The pre-film event will see Prof Brian Cox host Interstellar director Christopher Nolan, composer Hans Zimmer and executive producer and theoretical physicist Kip Thorne in conversation, all introduced onstage by Prof Stephen Hawking - a unique and astonishing all-star line-up. After this, cast member Sir Michael Caine will present the film.” I went with some awesome people, Reuben, Ben, Karyn, Min, Nicole, and Chelsea. That was a couple hours after my papers were submitted. Best reward ever.

The next day I went with my dear friend Tara to the temple, and a picnic because we can and it is springtime, and Tara made delicious quiche. We did several ordinances there – and I may have fainted at the end. Haha – it was rather hot and I have been rather busy lately. I had eaten and such before but my body decided it was too tired. :) Luckily, I did not lose complete consciousness – but it was sure weird. I was blessed though, it was the most peaceful time I’ve ever fainted (third time is the charm?). And Tara was an angel. She made sure I got home safely, trains, the tube, and everything. After that, I just rested. I felt really badly because my friend Karyn called later and asked if I wanted to go hang out. But I had promised to stay home and rest, so I could not.

No worries. The next day I went and got yummy food with Molly (we're on a quest for the best donuts in London, plus salt beef beigels are always a good idea), worked on school stuff, and then met up with Karyn, Gishi, Nicole, Jess, and Colin for dinner. It was nice.

And the next day… another adventure!
